We are so grateful for all the love, prayers, and support given for the Project Hope Backpack Ministry to help kids return to school this year. It has been two years for most children and youth in Peru with no schools doors being open due to the pandemic. We praise God for His provisions as 1000 backpacks have been packed with Bibles, school supplies, food lunch containers, hygiene care supplies, toothbrushes, and much needed food. Praise God for the missionaries and local church members who helped long HOURS over many days to pack each backpack with LOVE. What a BLESSING to see their hearts as they serve and love others in their community.
We have witnessed so many miracles since January as supplies began arriving from Lima and other larger cities to the village of Curahuasi. One shipment from Lima included 1000 duplicates of school supplies that did not increase the budget…which has now allowed for an additional 1000 school supplies to be given to 1000 more children and youth! God is so good!
The team has already began traveling to village to village to help distribute each backpack. Tears of JOY have filled our eyes and from the families receiving them. Please pray as the Good News of Jesus Christ is being shared to all. Pray for many to put their HOPE and FAITH in the one and only Savior of the world, JESUS CHRIST.
