As we celebrate the 10th anniversary of Rooted In Grace & Love, we are excited to launch our new Rooted 2024 shirts!

Our new design was created by Grace Tang. Grace is continuing her studies at Anderson University. Grace has served alongside Rooted In Grace & Love for many years. She has a heart for missions and for sharing the LOVE of Jesus Christ. We shared our vision and passion with her for reaching the adults, youth, and children in Peru with God’s amazing love.

Grace captured our hearts AGAIN with this new design. This year’s design focuses on Revelation 22:16 ~ “I, Jesus, have sent my angel to testify to you about these things for the churches. I am the root and the descendant of David, the bright morning star.” This verse also tells us Jesus is “the root and the descendant of David” and “the bright morning star.” He has existed forever. Jesus knows no beginning, and He knows no end. He is the Savior who came once, and He is the Sovereign who is coming back soon. Turn to Him today. Trust in Him today.

What a blessing to be surrounded by so many who are longing to hear more about Jesus and His Word. As we gather each week in the villages, we cannot help but think about the little things we take for granted and to pause and think God for His great love, grace, and unending mercies. Seeing these women coming together with no large buildings or comfortable seats…only JESUS.

We are working through the study by Chip Ingram called “Good to Great in God’s Eyes”. This week was a sweet reminder for us all to mediate on spiritual insights.

Chip shares in his study, “one more insight that has changed my life: comparison is at the core of carnality. That comes straight out of 2 Corinthians 10:12, so there’s nothing groundbreaking there. But when I realized that truth, it made a huge difference in my life. I realized that when I compare my gifts with someone else’s, there are only two places to go: inferiority or superiority. I either become envious or arrogant.

It’s the same when I compare personalities, success, possessions, relationships, or anything else. There’s no spiritual benefit to do that. This universal human tendency to compare can result in all kinds of emotional struggles. What’s the solution? To think about the TRUTH: we are accepted in Christ by his blood; we’re the object of his affection; we are so precious to him that he gathers our tears in a bottle (Psalm 56:8), and he went to the cross while we were still sinners. We are accepted in Beloved, and the life we now live is a response of gratitude, not a labor of guilt or a desperate attempt to impress.”
