Our StorySean and Crissy Heath started their life journey together ready to follow the American dream. God had different plans for their lives. In 2010, God led Sean to Peru for an international missions trip. In 2015, they founded Rooted In Grace & Love based on their passion and hearts to be rooted and grounded in God’s Word and to share His love with others.

PRAY FOR PROJECT HOPE 2026
Join us this week as we pray for Project Hope. Pray for each student who walks through our doors—that they would come to know and experience the love of Jesus Christ. Pray for the mission team as they faithfully minister and serve hot meals to each young adult with compassion and grace. And pray that many would place their faith and trust in CHRIST alone, finding true hope and new life in Him.

NEW 2026 ROOTED SHIRTS
This year’s design was created by Sailor Heath, who has spent much of his life living and serving overseas. Sailor truly captured our hearts with a design that beautifully reflects Project Hope and the ministries of Rooted In Grace & Love.
Our 2026 shirts are centered on Ephesians 2:4–5, “But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ.”
But God…

We are so excited to begin a new school year in Peru! We praise God for the backpacks provided for students in need and are incredibly grateful for the love and support shown year after year. Through Project Hope, our heart is to share the incredible love of Jesus Christ with each student.

We are so grateful for the opportunity to serve alongside the students from The Baptist Preparatory School in Peru. Their hearts were truly inspiring—prepared to teach in Spanish, boldly share their testimonies, and pour out love and kindness to everyone they met.
As they traveled daily to villages, their impact on both youth and adults was incredible. Their passion to share the love of Jesus was evident in every moment. From packing hundreds of school backpacks to delivering food to families and encouraging the mission team, they served with joy and purpose.
One unforgettable highlight was the hours spent traveling in the van, listening to these students sing their hearts out in praise to Jesus—such a beautiful and powerful moment.
A special thank you to Heather and Brian for leading and investing in these amazing young women. And above all, we praise the Lord for His provision and faithfulness through it all.

Highlights: Mt. Vernon College 🇵🇪
So thankful for this team’s hearts to come and serve in Peru. Each day they traveled to nearby villages, meeting families and delivering much-needed food and supplies. They prepared and distributed backpacks filled with school supplies to children so they could attend school. They spent a special day with the boys from the children’s home—hiking to beautiful waterfalls, enjoying a favorite Peruvian meal, and playing soccer together. It was a joy to share the love of Jesus. The team also encouraged women and children in the villages through testimonies, Bible stories, and crafts. Each morning, team members hiked to Prayer Rock to thank the Lord and seek His guidance for the day. They prayed over the future home for Project Hope and faithfully served and encouraged the mission staff. We are TRULY grateful for this team of six as they shared their FAITH and LOVE for Jesus to so many here in Peru.
