What an amazing week with Mt. Vernon Baptist Church (Boone, NC) team members. The group of six, led by Jim & Linda Shoemake, struggled through many flight delays and lost luggage, but they continuously prayed to the Lord, for His will and direction as they came to serve along side the Peruvian people. Such a testimony to see their faith through the daily challenges as Satan tried to attack and stop some of the weekly ministries. We praise God! Our Almighty, Heavenly Father as He is bigger than any challenges we may face, sovereign, and Lord of all! We were so blessed to have the Samaritan’s Purse Operation Child Christmas shoeboxes arrive while the Boone, NC served along side our family. What an answered prayer this was as we have been waiting for the arrival of these special gifts to share with many youth and children in the surrounding, remote villages. Please pray for all the children who will be receiving these precious boxes and hearing about the greatest gift of all, Jesus Christ. Please pray for all the families that received food throughout this week, for the VBS ministries, ladies ministries, construction of the mission home, and for all the people who heard the GOOD NEWS of JESUS CHRIST. Thank you, Mt. Vernon Baptist, for sending us this amazing group of people, whose hearts were filled with LOVE and HOPE of sharing the incredible plan of salvation, through God’s one and only Son, JESUS CHRIST!
We love you all and look forward to seeing you all again soon!
May God Bless-

“How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching? And how are they to preach unless they are sent? As it is written, “How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the good news!” ~Romans 10:14-15
