June has been an exciting month as Collide Church (North Carolina) joined us for the first time in Curahuasi, Peru. The team of seven, led by Susan Doub, came ready to serve and help us minister to the people here in the village. Each day the team worked hard on the construction of the new ALMA Children’s Home, the Rooted In Grace & Love Mission Home, and helped serve in various ministries within Curahausi and in the surrounding villages. The ALMA Team was truly blessed as the Collide Church Team helped donate funds to build part of the playground for the future 56 children. We thank you for this precious gift and for the hours of hard work you gave to help prepare this new play area.
This team encouraged our family tremendously and prayed for us as new ministries doors are opening and for our ongoing weekly outreach ministries. We were so blessed to have an opportunity to meet their team members and hear their amazing stories of LOVE as they and their church family (Collide Church) seeks to share the gospel to many unreached areas of Yadkin County.
We will continue to lift Collide Church up in our prayers and ask for the Lord to lead and direct you each step of the way. We look forward to meeting many more faces of Collide when we return home back to the States, Lord willing, next year!
