God never does anything accidentally, and he never makes mistakes. He has a reason for everything He creates. Every plant and every animal was planned by God, and every person was designed with a purpose in mind. God’s motive for creating you was His love. The Bible says, “even before He made the world, God loved us and chose us in Christ to be holy and without fault in His eyes” (Ephesians 1:4).

| Thank you Sarah Dyson, Kay Drew, and Glenda Huffman for teaching the ladies how to make beautiful ribbon bookmarks! Everyone who attended loved hand-sewing and designing their own bookmark with buttons! |

| Prior to the VBS in the afternoon, we found out that the Mayor of Cajamarca was visiting in the Plaza with a very special surprise for all the kids in this area! The Mayor provided each child with their own book-bag filled with school paper and pencils! |

| The Mayor greeted each child and handed them their NEW book-bag! |
 |
| So sweet seeing each child SMILE and very happy to have new school supplies! |

| After the event in the Plaza, the children started arriving for VBS! |
 |
| Laughing and Singing…Ready for Day 2! |

| Kay worked with the smaller children…AMAZING job teaching them about Baby JESUS! |

| We wanted to HUG and HOLD them all…they were all so precious! |
 |
| Making RAINBOWS for craft time after we discussed God’s Promises! |

| Glenda & Emily leading the older class…rain poured down and we all tried to dodge the water drips coming from the adobe style ceiling above! |

| Celso did an amazing job as the rain continued to come down teaching the kids about Noah and the Ark! |

| Back on the farm, all the men worked hard on completing the new desk and chairs for the students at Monte Sion School! |

| The men organized an assembly line…each person working hard to complete all 50 sets! |
 |
| Loading each one up to take them to the school! |

| The NC Team members were greeted by EXCITED school students ready to help them carry each desk inside! |

| A moment this team will never forget…as many children received new desk! |

| Sarah and Rick with their long time friend, Chino. They have known him since he was a young child and now he is teaching Physical Education at Monte Sion! |
