so that all may know Him…

PROJECT REFUGE CONTINUES
Please take a moment to view the most recent updates with PROJECT REFUGE and the flood victims in Cajamarca, Peru. What a BLESSING so many individuals & churches have been from the States, as many have sacrificially given donations, clothes, shoes, and lifted up many prayers during this devastating time. THANK YOU for your prayers! Your prayers are helping to give strength to many families who are struggling daily and are in great of prayers, comfort, and love. After traveling each day to the known 25-30 families affected (110-120 people), we realized that some families have lost everything during the flood that took place on March 17, 2013. Their homes collapsed and mostly all their belongings were washed away or destroyed.

But there is HOPE! We have an AMAZING Heavenly Father who LOVES us and comforts us…he is our REFUGE and our strength.
“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any trouble.” ~2 Corinthians 1:3-4a

Lord, we pray for guidance as we begin this week to construct new homes for some of the families who have no family, no home, and no where to turn. God, I want to thank you for the SIX individuals who, this past weekend on Easter, accepted you as their LORD and SAVIOR. We pray that these individuals (and others) will courageously follow you each and every day for the rest of their lives and that their faith and love for you will continue to grow. Lord, it is through your GRACE and FAITH alone, the one and only TRUE GOD. Thank you for sending your son, JESUS CHRIST, demonstrating the GREATEST LOVE OF ALL as He died on that CROSS, so that we may all have eternal life. Lord, I pray that Your Word will not return to you void (Isaiah 55:11), but that others will come to know you and make you Lord of their lives…no new house, new clothes, new shoes (nothing) compares to having an eternal hope and salvation in YOU. Thank you Lord, for the love of so many in the States. May You be GLORIFIED forever and ever ~Amen.
“For I was hungry and you gave Me food; I was thirsty and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger and you took Me in;
I was naked and you clothed Me.” ~Matthew 25:35-40
